If you have read the last post Our kitchen renovation stand still, you will know that we are as stated by one reader in a bit of a pickle with our kitchen at the moment and we trying to come up with ideas that would best help us resolve this issue and leave us with a kitchen that we are proud of not something that looks like a tornado ripped through and tore it all out.
We have a few possibilities accessible to us but some like spending a lot of money or taking out a loan will be harder for us due to us being in a bit of because of hubby having to take a substantial amount of time off over the last few years due to his list of medical problems that you can read about here: Happier, healthier and not smoking, resulting in him no longer being able to work full time.
We are slowly chipping away at the debt and don't want anything else to go wrong to add to that. I thought the best way to come to a decision is to write all our options down and have them laid out in front of us. Also, we wanted to see what my readers thought as well, maybe we could get some inventive ideas that we haven't thought of yet.
Buy a kitchen outright - Not really an option as we are on a tight budget from day to day anyway and just don't have that kind of money.
Buy a kitchen 0% interest - Could do, we are just worried about something going wrong and us ending up in more debt then we started.
Build a kitchen - Need to take into account the cost of supplies, will need to buy or loan all the necessary tools, I would definitely use the tools again so it wouldn't be a waste of money but I first need to acquire the money to buy the tools.
Bide time and wait - Wait it out and see if someone else is ripping out a kitchen that we can have or buy on the cheap.
If there are any ideas we missed then please feel free to leave them in the comments below, we would love to hear your thoughts.
