Week 38 - New Years Resolutions

Happy New Year, everyone! I wanted to start writing down my resolutions on the blog so that I can look back everyday and have a visual reminder that will help me stick to the goals I have set in place.

In 2017 I didn't bother with resolutions but this year I felt that I should take some time and think about what I actually wanted to achieve in the new year.

This year I have a few resolutions and I really want to put in an effort to strive towards them so that when the end of year comes around again I can feel good about accomplishing something great.

My main resolution this year is to be more vegan or to make a full transition to veganism would be the ultimate goal. If I was to cut out even half of my meat consumption this year then I would be incredibly happy.

My mini goals include:

  • Being more organized, whether its my wardrobe or the kitchen both areas are in serious need or a little reorganization.

  • Exercise more, yeah were all guilty of it sometimes, thinking that 10 minutes of exercise is enough each week well it's not so this year I will be making a serious effort to make more time for exercise and even making a routine.

  • Take more time to read books, I have a lot of book around our place that I start to read then stop after the first chapter. Like a lot of people I can't seem to switch off when it comes to technology. I will start reading a book then get distracted by notifications popping up on my phone. I need to turn off my phone and go chill in a quite place and read for a bit.
