week 40 - No time to be sick

So this past week has been super fun, thanks to hubby's colleagues going to work sick hubby brought home a lovely cold to share. You ever hear that saying in movies ' I don't have time to die' well that's what its like for me except it's I don't have time to be sick, there's too much stuff to do. I'm one of those people that like to go on a mad clean when someone in the house gets sick, especially me. When I'm sick if I don't clean something that needs doing then I will lay in bed thinking about it until I eventually fall asleep or even get up and do it. I hate the idea of germs everywhere so I will grab the bottle of homemade all-purpose cleaner and wipe down everything. The recipe for the one I make is: 1/2 c white vinegar 2 Tbsp baking soda 10 drops tea tree oil When it comes to food, I usually start my days with a large glass of orange juice for the vitamin c and then I will have a light breakfast, just some toast with honey as I don't like to eat huge amounts in the morning especially when I'm sick. During the day I drink tea, either chamomile or green tea with honey and not sugar as it makes my throat worse not better even in the best of teas. For dinner, I like to make sure to eat a full healthy meal and I have actually discovered a new food love thanks to me doing Veganuary this month... Quorn Vegan Fishless fingers, I had five fingers with a nice big bowl of lettuce salad and freshly cut tomato, I liked them so much that I actually went back and cooked the rest of the fingers. I found that having a nice hot bath with some eucalyptus bath salts really helps to relieve aches and congestion, tea tree or lavender essential oils will work fine too. No one wants to go to feeling sore and clogged up, we have all been there it sucks. I, unfortunately, don't own a hairdryer nor does our bathroom have any power points for me to plug one in, so when I'm sick my hair stays dry.
